Attire with be upscale casual, drinks will be byob, service will be family style, and we will be happy to give farm tours during the first hour of the dinner as we assemble and enjoy our amuse bouche. Tickets will be limited to 48 persons this year.
Come and taste what is yet to come.
Elmwood Farm moved to this one-acre at 1014 Nolte last Spring. In the past year of starting over from scratch, our aspirational farm has blossomed into it’s true colors as a community space where kids regularly play, neighborhood food waste is recycled, and live music is enjoyed. We also do some farming, too.
We have enjoyed hosting our neighbors and want to secure the farm as a community space into the future while we practice slow farming. All of this takes money, lots of volunteer labor, and love. Your donations allow us to continue to host affordable events, offer a free green space in the heart of Oak Cliff, and add essential infrastructure to the farm.
Your support preserves a place for nature in Oak Cliff.
This dinner kicks off end of year fundraising for the farm. Our goal is to raise $30,000 for 2024 to cover our annual operating expenses and build a covered patio with outdoor kitchen to better host events, dinners, and workshops. We will be sharing more about the projects we are excited for the farm to take on next year, during the dinner. If you want to dive deeper, join us for cocktail hour and a farm tour before the dinner.
Kitchen and dining room share the field. See the menu, below.
